This site is dedicated to one of the best teams ever to play American Football in the UK, The Manchester Allstars. Whether you were a player or a fan, or perhaps your Dad played (oh dear are we that old?), this site is for you.

The story of the Allstars covers what is arguably the most glamourous period for the game of American Football here in the UK. From its foundation in 1984, through to the sad closure of the club in 1990, the club always attempted to maintain the highest standards both on and off the pitch. (although some of you who remember the trip back on the coach from the Bud Bowl in 87 might disagree with that..)

As a result of those high standards most people who were associated with the club during it's 6 years have fond memories of a glorious period of their lives. Friendships were formed that have lasted down the years.However, time moves on and gradually most of us have drifted out of contact which is a shame.The aim of this website is to help everybody to get in touch again and to have a permanent record of those fantastic times.

There are lots of ideas about where we can take the website and of how it can be developed. We want you to put your ideas forwards and submit articles or memorabilia which can be included (although some of it might have to be censored...Hank).

There are name@manchester-allstars.co.uk e mail addresses for the ex players to help keep in touch (these can be forwarded to any other e mail address), downloads and programmes, posters and DVD's of some of the games that you can purchase.All funds will go to the cost of the reunion in 2007.

So, welcome to the first stage of what will hopefully be a long lasting tribute to all those involved with the Allstars.
